Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Prospero Xabel made the kick off and thus started the match. If Victorino Bladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosendo Marcones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Oihenarte in the 5th minute of the match. In the 8th match minute, Carboncito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Canor to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Bladi in the 13th minute of play forced Sarmiento AFC's goalkeeper Rosendo Marcones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Prospero Xabel came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Sarmiento AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Xabel couldn't finish the play. After 18 minutes, Domingos Iago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarmiento AFC and the Carboncito AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Sarmiento AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Iago to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Victorino Bladi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rosendo Marcones was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Victorino Bladi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carboncito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Bladi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosendo Marcones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carboncito AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Zeledon Cisco went to the wrong direction when Cornelio Izotz was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When Prospero Xabel came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Sarmiento AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Xabel couldn't finish the play. Clodoveo Sabins short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Zeledon Cisco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Prospero Xabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Cisco having to interfere. Clodoveo Sabin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prospero Xabel kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Prospero Xabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carboncito AFC's Zeledon Cisco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Carboncito AFC from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingos Oihenarte made a kick off. Zeledon Cisco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Sabin, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After a rather tough play, Carboncito AFC's Benicio Argenis got a free kick in the 57th minute. Prospero Xabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the game, Sarmiento AFC's Clodoveo Sabin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Cisco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Domingos Oihenarte received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rosendo Marcones came out and tried to block the shot, but Domingos Oihenarte slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 68th minute. Sarmiento AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Domingos Oihenarte scored to the left of an out of position Rosendo Marcones, making the score, 2-3. Cristobal Francho kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Prospero Xabel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Zeledon Cisco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Sarmiento AFC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Carboncito AFC to win.
