Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 4 minutes, Jorge Gonsalve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calilegua AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Gonsalve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Vera's goalkeeper Ariel Belmiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Gonsalve. In the 10th minute, Jorge Gonsalve got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eriberto Chorche hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Vera's goalkeeper Ariel Belmiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Gonsalve. Ismael Johans scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basilio Guillelmus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ismael Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 played minutes Calilegua AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Montae. After a defensive mix-up in Calilegua AFC's zone, Freddy Lazcano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Guillelmus came out of the goal and Freddy Lazcano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basilio Guillelmus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Johans went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 40 minutes into the match, Vera's Ismael Johans sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basilio Guillelmus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Eriberto Chorche fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vera's protests and gave Eriberto Chorche a yellow card for diving instead. Ariel Belmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Calilegua AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vera were winning 1-2.

Basilio Guillelmus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Johans in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Vera's Freddy Lazcano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 66th minute Jorge Gonsalve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Belmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Gonsalve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobias Montae charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Montae the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Calilegua AFC were furious when Diego Orzaize was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 72nd minute, one of Calilegua AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Calilegua AFC. Basilio Guillelmus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Johans in the 94th minute of play. Freddy Lazcano struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Basilio Guillelmus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vera.
