A collision led to Club Ateletico Takataka getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Leandro Magdaleno hit a great ball. Ismael Johans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Jaizki having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Johans in the 44th minute of play forced Club Ateletico Takataka's goalkeeper Casimiro Jaizki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Ateletico Takataka's Casimiro Jaizki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save Club Ateletico Takataka from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The crowd rose to their feet as Club Ateletico Takataka's Hector Ortzi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ariel Belmiro. That made the score 1-1 after 61 minutes of play. In the 65th minute, Guillermo Gitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Hector Ortzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Belmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sotero kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Adolfo Emeterio fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vera's protests and gave Adolfo Emeterio a yellow card for diving instead. If Hector Ortzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. Leandro Magdaleno's late challenge caught a Vera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Magdaleno helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club Ateletico Takataka's Leandro Magdaleno got a free kick in the 95th minute. Vera were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Club Ateletico Takataka to leave the ground with a draw.
