The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Amador Gutierrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 17th minute, Erasmo Shepherd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulises Pello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Gustau having to interfere. The supporters of Pirquitas AFC booed when Lastenia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Weather didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Gustau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Pello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erasmo Shepherd during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Pirquitas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Shepherd to maneuver through the defense. Amador Gutierrez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Blasco having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Pirquitas AFC's Remigio Joey got a free kick in the 35th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Lastenia's Felipe Ilixo tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Pirquitas AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Donato Gabirel hit a great ball. Amador Gutierrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remigio Joey during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Remigio Joey hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Lastenia's Diego Gustau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Lastenia from getting a goal against them. Erasmo Shepherd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diego Gustau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Pirquitas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Gutierrez came free, but Samuel Blasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigio Joey was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 68 played minutes Pirquitas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Joey. Erasmo Shepherd kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Jeronimo Quinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Blasco having to interfere. Pirquitas AFC's Ulises Pello got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amador Gutierrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Pello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Gustau having to interfere. When Ulises Pello came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Pirquitas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Pello couldn't finish the play. Ulises Pello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lastenia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
