Nestor Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Marques made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Teobaldo Chale sent off a good shot on target. 8 minutes into the match, Rene Bonadona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaston Furman. Sabagasta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rene Bonadona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With his leg Nestor Marques managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Sabagasta's Ambrosio Pasqual fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Bonadona in the 19th minute of play forced Sabagasta's goalkeeper Gaston Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Filiberto Rameriz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elvio Perpinya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Rene Bonadona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Elvio Perpinya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sabagasta getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Teobaldo Chale hit a great ball. Gaston Furman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Perpinya, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rosendo Tolino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Ambrosio Pasqual ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Marques was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ambrosio Pasqual fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Marques having to interfere. Nestor Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Tolino in the 63rd minute of the match. Rene Bonadona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaston Furman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Aguaray getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Cayetano Dominix hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Sabagasta's Ambrosio Pasqual sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Marques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cayetano Dominix kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Ambrosio Pasqual recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cayetano Dominix hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Tolino in the 82nd minute of play forced Aguaray's goalkeeper Nestor Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Aguaray's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Pasqual came free, but Nestor Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 86 minutes, Rosendo Tolino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sabagasta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosendo Tolino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nestor Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Tolino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ambrosio Pasqual blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestor Marques having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Tolino in the 95th minute of play forced Aguaray's goalkeeper Nestor Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabagasta were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Aguaray for a fine match.
