The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arroyito's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Karlo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Madeo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Gorostiaga getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Baldomero Pirmin hit a great ball. Gorostiaga's Filiberto Pietro managed to work through Arroyito's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Filiberto Pietro dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Serafin Iigo was a little too slow when Filiberto Pietro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Raimundo Ulizes hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 26th match minute, Arroyito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Ulizes to maneuver through the defense. Wilfredo Mincho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Serafin Iigo. Arroyito's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arnaldo Karlo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. A hard shot 30 in the game by Ermegildo Patrido from a close distance when the talented Serafin Iigo managed to make a qualified save. Arroyito's players were relieved. Ermegildo Patrido came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Serafin Iigo could save by the left post. Albino Madeo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Karlo in the 33rd minute of the match. Arnaldo Karlo succeeded in the game's 46th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Karlo made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Gorostiaga's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elpidio Giro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 59 minutes into the match, Gorostiaga's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Karlo came free, but Albino Madeo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafin Iigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Gorostiaga booed when Arroyito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Beat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72ndth minute of the game Filiberto Pietro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arroyito's Serafin Iigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnaldo Karlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Albino Madeo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafin Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Patrido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiberto Pietro in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafin Iigo saved Arroyito from getting behind. The Arroyito players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
