Gálvez United's Leandro Aritza got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Eyague in the 5th minute of play forced Redonda's goalkeeper Mauricio Seme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Gálvez United defense, Angelo Celio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anselmo Fidencio. The Gálvez United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anselmo Fidencio should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Redonda booed when Gálvez United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Etxepare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filomeno Sarracino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Anselmo Fidencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Redonda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Galtero to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Fidencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Sarracino in the 22nd minute of play. Redonda's Mauricio Seme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Eyague in the 25th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Tadeo Abadia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gálvez United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Redonda the free kick. Angelo Celio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Fidencio having to interfere. With a little luck, Redonda's Mauricio Seme got control of the ball when Leandro Aritza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Godofredo Eyague sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

After 53 played minutes Redonda got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Tabby. Filomeno Sarracino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. Redonda's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Horacio Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Angelo Celio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Fidencio made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Angelo Celio sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Tabby was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Anselmo Fidencio. Gálvez United's Anselmo Fidencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Sarracino in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Gálvez United's goalkeeper Anselmo Fidencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Celio. Redonda's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
