After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Agustin Hermon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honores Renato Cesarini's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Hermon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Nafarroa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvio Emmanuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ovara AFC's Mauro Nafarroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Emmanuel in the 34th minute of play. After 57 minutes, Gilberto Rico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ovara AFC and the Honores Renato Cesarini players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Ovara AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Rico. Agustin Hermon might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Nafarroa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agustin Hermon ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 62nd minute, Hector Cisco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rigoberto Castulo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Benjamin Inge fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ovara AFC's protests and gave Benjamin Inge a yellow card for diving instead. Benjamin Inge kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Agustin Hermon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mauro Nafarroa. That made the score 1-2 in the 70 minute of play. If Hector Cisco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Cisco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Castulo having to interfere. Mauro Nafarroa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvio Emmanuel in the 82nd minute. Rigoberto Castulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Sasoin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The supporters of Ovara AFC booed when Honores Renato Cesarini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Galo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Honores Renato Cesarini left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ovara AFC.
