The audience was convinced that Epifanio Weterio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Manilan was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Americo Cortez struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Diego Manilan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murquilla . In the 26th minute Samuel Favila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Manilan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Weterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murquilla 's Americo Cortez got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Eduardo Mannie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Epifanio Weterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Epifanio Weterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Manilan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Manilan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Cortez in the 43rd minute of the match. Epifanio Weterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Manilan having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Eduardo Mannie made the kick off in the second half. Murquilla 's Americo Cortez got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diego Manilan was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Americo Cortez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Americo Cortez really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Americo Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Diego Manilan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Epifanio Weterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Manilan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Cortez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Americo Cortez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Severino Feliu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Epifanio Weterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Diego Manilan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Murquilla 's Americo Cortez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Diego Manilan. That made the score 0-4 after 90 minutes of play. Epifanio Weterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Murquilla could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than adolfo fc throughout the match.
