Candelaria FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Amancio Eguerdi got in the 11th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ceferino Gervaso handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The supporters of Candelaria FC booed when Huasapampa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Markel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Candelaria FC's Amancio Eguerdi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ceferino Gervaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Eguerdi in the 27th minute of the match. Delmiro Herena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Ceferino Gervaso made a huge save. If Delmiro Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Gervaso made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Delmiro Herena sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Huasapampa AFC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ramiro Ursino hit a great ball. Delmiro Herena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Huasapampa AFC's Miguel Markel got a free kick in the 44th minute. Amancio Eguerdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ceferino Gervaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Delmiro Herena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Herena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amancio Eguerdi was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Candelaria FC booed when Huasapampa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Mitxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Huasapampa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Herena came free, but Ceferino Gervaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ceferino Gervaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Eguerdi in the 60th minute of the match. When Delmiro Herena came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Candelaria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Herena couldn't finish the play. Amancio Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Gervaso having to interfere. When Feliberto Eriz came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Huasapampa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Eriz couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute, Delmiro Herena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute Delmiro Herena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Gervaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Huasapampa AFC's Feliberto Eriz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 86 minutes into the match, Huasapampa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Herena came free, but Ceferino Gervaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Candelaria FC's Amancio Eguerdi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
