If Mariano Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennehy AFC's Filiberto Diegotxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Daunte in the 9th minute of play. With his leg Marciano Cruz managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Dennehy AFC's Emanuel Admon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 13 played minutes C.A. COLON got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Espiridion. After a rather tough play, Dennehy AFC's Eustaquio Oso got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Jimeno Daunte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dennehy AFC's Filiberto Diegotxe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Dennehy AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jonatan Gabirel hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Eustaquio Oso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C.A. COLON's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rosendo Piorno in the 26th minute. The corner ended in Rosendo Piorno almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dennehy AFC's Filiberto Diegotxe did a great save. Emanuel Admon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Marciano Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Dolfo to strike the kick off in the second half. Marciano Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Dolfo in the 52nd minute of the match. During the 58th minute of the match Rosendo Cristofol completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rosendo Cristofol a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 68th minute, Rene Tohias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgardo Espiridion during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 72 minutes into the game, one of C.A. COLON:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Dennehy AFC. Ildefonso Sal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marciano Cruz. 1-0. Filiberto Diegotxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Daunte, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Emanuel Admon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cirilo Dominguez scored 1-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filiberto Diegotxe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Tonio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dennehy AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. COLON the free kick. After 93 played minutes Dennehy AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Tonio. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Dennehy AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A. COLON:s goal. Cirilo Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 101st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The C.A. COLON players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
