Ladislao Kinsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Mariano Dolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dennehy AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Dolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorio Chorache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, Lobos's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Dolfo came free, but Honorio Chorache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lobos's zone, Mariano Dolfo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Chorache came out of the goal and Mariano Dolfo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filiberto Diegotxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Bartolome, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Ariel Izotz kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Domingo Bartolome came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Lobos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Bartolome couldn't finish the play. Florencio Heli charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florencio Heli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teobaldo Osorio struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Filiberto Diegotxe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobos. 39 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Oso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dennehy AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lobos the free kick. Dennehy AFC's Emanuel Admon got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mariano Dolfo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorio Chorache read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Teobaldo Osorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Dolfo was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Lobos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Demario to maneuver through the defense. If Mariano Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dennehy AFC's Mariano Dolfo in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lobos's goalie prevented a goal. In the 83rd minute, Diego Javiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Emanuel Admon notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Lobos's Honorio Chorache. Honorio Chorache was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Filiberto Diegotxe didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Lobos's Teobaldo Osorio got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teobaldo Osorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Diegotxe having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lobos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
