Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Maximo Machado kicked off to start the match. Agustin Fernado scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aquilino Selatse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute Maximo Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximo Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Aquilino Selatse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Haitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Vanguardia's Ramon Rito got a free kick in the 29th minute. Ernesto Isusko acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ovidio Unai. The supporters of Granville booed when Vanguardia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Aritza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Isusko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narciso Pietro's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. If Agustin Fernado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Granville's Norberto Lalla got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Vanguardia's Ernesto Isusko got control of the ball when Aurelio Haitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Granville's Aquilino Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Fernado in the 45th minute of play. Gualterio Hernando charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gualterio Hernando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Vanguardia got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Hernando. If Narciso Pietro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Narciso Pietro fell near the penalty area in the 49th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granville's protests and gave Narciso Pietro a yellow card for diving instead. Narciso Pietro kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narciso Pietro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 1-1 became the score in the 54th minute when Aurelio Haitz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Agustin Fernado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquilino Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Machado in the 59th minute of play. Aurelio Haitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Isusko having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vanguardia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! In the 73rdth minute of the game Aurelio Haitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vanguardia's Ernesto Isusko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Vanguardia's Maximo Machado in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Granville's goalie prevented a goal. 84 minutes into the match, Vanguardia's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Pietro came free, but Ernesto Isusko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Granville's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Machado came free, but Aquilino Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Granville's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
