Eliseo Montrelle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monigotes FC. Tiburcio Merexildo's late challenge caught a Monigotes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiburcio Merexildo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lavalle AFC's Tiburcio Merexildo got a free kick in the 15th minute. Ciro Chaime fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Koldo having to interfere. Ciro Chaime was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience was convinced that Laureano Ranolfo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Koldo was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Jacobo Koldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Ranolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 60 minutes, Laureano Ranolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lavalle AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Ranolfo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute Laureano Ranolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Koldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monigotes FC's Jacobo Koldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Ranolfo in the 69th minute of play. If Ciro Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Ranolfo in the 83rd minute of play forced Monigotes FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Koldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Koldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laureano Ranolfo's shot from short distance in the 87th minute.
