In the 7th minute Baldomero Chan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eleuterio Frichoso came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Alberdi's Baldomero Chan. But to his dismay, Baldomero Chan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Armando Enekoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. c.a.parana's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Enekoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbano Dantel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cipriano Afonso came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Alberdi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Afonso couldn't finish the play. Cipriano Afonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Eleuterio Frichoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleuterio Frichoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Chan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. c.a.parana's Eleuterio Frichoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Veronica in the 28th minute of play. Baldomero Chan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, c.a.parana's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Chan came free, but Eleuterio Frichoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Afonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Frichoso having to interfere. After 38 played minutes c.a.parana got a freekick which was hit by Armando Enekoitz. Baldomero Chan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberdi's Baldomero Chan got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eleuterio Frichoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Chan in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Enekoitz to make the kick off. c.a.parana's Eleuterio Frichoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Chan in the 52nd minute of play. Baldomero Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Frichoso having to interfere. In the last second Eleuterio Frichoso throw himself and got hold of the ball when Baldomero Chan in the 55thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 62ndth minute of the game Baldomero Chan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but c.a.parana's Eleuterio Frichoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, c.a.parana's goalkeeper Eleuterio Frichoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cipriano Afonso. Eleuterio Frichoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Chan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Cipriano Afonso could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Eleuterio Frichoso however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 85 minutes, Cipriano Afonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alberdi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Afonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eleuterio Frichoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Afonso in the 92nd minute. Eleuterio Frichoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Chan in the 94th minute of the match.
