In the 3rd minute, Urbano Abadia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Clemente Matai put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eriberto Ciceron. Eriberto Ciceron made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Francisco Efraim sent off a good shot on target. Eriberto Ciceron didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Papin's Clemente Matai shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Jonathan Emenon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26th minute, Matias Bartolome made a precise shot to the right of Eriberto Ciceron. Progresso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 35th minute, Progresso FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Clemente Matai fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 39thth minute of the game Clemente Matai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Progresso FC's Eriberto Ciceron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Progresso FC's Eriberto Ciceron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Matai in the 40th minute of play. Francisco Efraims short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Eriberto Ciceron to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Francisco Efraim hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Eriberto Ciceron made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Francisco Efraim sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Progresso FC's Jonathan Emenon got a free kick in the 46th minute. Eriberto Ciceron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Matai in the 49th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Jonathan Emenon made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Matias Bartolome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Matai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Ciceron having to interfere. When Papin's Francisco Efraim in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Progresso FC's goalie prevented a goal. Clemente Matai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriberto Ciceron came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Papin's Matias Bartolome. But to his dismay, Matias Bartolome quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 76 minutes into the match, Clemente Matai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eriberto Ciceron. Progresso FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clemente Matai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Eriberto Ciceron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Matai, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Eriberto Ciceron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Efraim in the 81st minute of the match. Clemente Matai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Efraim in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eriberto Ciceron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the match, Progresso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Bartolome came free, but Eriberto Ciceron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Matai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Ciceron having to interfere. In the 95thth minute of the game Francisco Efraim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Progresso FC's Eriberto Ciceron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Francisco Efraim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Papin's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
