Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Israel Sabino kicked off to start the match. Abelardo Christobal came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Tapebicuá's Mateo Velasco. But to his dismay, Mateo Velasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Mateo Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Christobal having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Tapebicuá's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Ignado came free, but Primitivo Pacifico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Primitivo Pacifico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Liberto in the 16th minute of the match. If Israel Sabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Israel Sabino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Tapebicuá booed when Arribeños AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Ibañez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Orlandus struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Abelardo Christobal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tapebicuá. Tapebicuá's Primitivo Pacifico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Liberto in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Arribeños AFC's Guillermo Chayo got a free kick in the 36th minute. A collision led to Tapebicuá getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Mateo Velasco hit a great ball. Rene Liberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cleto Ignado might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Primitivo Pacifico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cleto Ignado ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleto Ignado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Arribeños AFC booed when Tapebicuá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Frechoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nemesio Telesforo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cleto Ignado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Pacifico having to interfere. In the 59thth minute of the game Cleto Ignado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tapebicuá's Primitivo Pacifico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Primitivo Pacifico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Ignado in the 60th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Tapebicuá's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rene Liberto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Primitivo Pacifico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Liberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 minutes, Genaro Urti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tapebicuá and the Arribeños AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tapebicuá getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Genaro Urti hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Israel Sabino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abelardo Christobal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Cleto Ignado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Primitivo Pacifico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arribeños AFC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Tapebicuá had won, even though Arribeños AFC had held more of the ball.
