Tapebicuá's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Velasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmelo Dolfos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, Tapebicuá's Israel Sabino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carmelo Dolfos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carmelo Dolfos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Sabino in the 14th minute of the match. Anguilan's Carmelo Dolfos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Velasco in the 41st minute of play. Israel Sabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 57th minute, Tadeo Rainerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anselmo Roldanillo during the 60th minute. Carmelo Dolfos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Tapebicuá players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
