Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Flavio Liher kicked off to start the match. Remigio Demesio came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mangoré's Albino Torres. But to his dismay, Albino Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Pascual Turi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ladislao Orti. Mangoré's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascual Turi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Flavio Liher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 minutes, Federico Quin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matufiones FC and the Mangoré players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Matufiones FC's Federico Quin got a free kick in the 17th minute. Albino Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascual Turi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ladislao Orti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Mangoré was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Enaut to maneuver through the defense. Remigio Demesio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Serafo in the 30th minute. Ladislao Orti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Liher in the 33rd minute of play. After 36 played minutes Matufiones FC got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Liher. After a rather tough play, Matufiones FC's Pascual Turi got a free kick in the 39th minute. Pascual Turi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafin Kaiet charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafin Kaiet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mangoré's Serafin Kaiet got a free kick in the 44th minute.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albino Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matufiones FC's Pascual Turi came free and shot a quick shot against goal 52 minutes in the game, fortunately Ladislao Orti had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 54th of the match, Flavio Liher tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ladislao Orti got in the way and made a wonderful save. If Albino Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Santiago Serafo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remigio Demesio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Torres in the 68th minute of play. Albino Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Albino Torres came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Mangoré fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Torres couldn't finish the play. Astor Txeru charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Astor Txeru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Astor Txeru kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a long run with the ball, Paulino Orain did a trick in the 81st minute in front of Mangoré's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-2. An impressive performance by Matufiones FC's Paulino Orain! Remigio Demesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Serafo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Flavio Liher struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ladislao Orti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matufiones FC. Matufiones FC's Remigio Demesio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Torres in the 97th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
