In the 20th minute, Andres Maidana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelo Peter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Martin Bladi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Mauricio Lehoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the game, Ipisca FC's Angelo Peter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Bladi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Ulises Maxin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Timoteo Peru. That made the score 2-2 in the 44 minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andres Maidana was the one to do the kick off. In the 68th match minute, Puisoyé FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Pello to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Puisoyé FC's goalkeeper Martin Bladi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andres Maidana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Martin Bladi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Puisoyé FC! The goalkeeper, Martin Bladi, was totally fooled by Ipisca FC's Marcelo Orlin, who 74 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Peter got free with Martin Bladi in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Gogo Ponce notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Ipisca FC's Timoteo Peru. Timoteo Peru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ipisca FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
