Cipriano Endura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Hegoi having to interfere. In the 35th minute Victor Bertol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Hegoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cipriano Endura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Bertol in the 37th minute of play forced Unanué's goalkeeper Cecilio Hegoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cecilio Hegoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Endura in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Victor Bertol made the kick off in the second half. Cipriano Endura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Figueroa's Erubiel Amor got control of the ball when Dalmacio Eutropio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cipriano Endura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Cecilio Hegoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cipriano Endura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cipriano Endura came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Figueroa fans jumped to their feet. Cecilio Hegoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Endura in the 69th minute of the match. If Dalmacio Eutropio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Veronica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Amor having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Figueroa's goalkeeper Erubiel Amor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalmacio Eutropio. If Cipriano Endura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Unanué's goalkeeper Cecilio Hegoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Cipriano Endura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cecilio Hegoi. Unanué's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cipriano Endura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
