Joaquin Hondo made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Romulo Pueblo sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the match, Romulo Pueblo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joaquin Hondo, 1-3. Candido Perutxo's late challenge caught a Estanquito AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Candido Perutxo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th match minute, Estanquito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Endura to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Cosme Arias made the kick off in the second half. Estanquito AFC's Diego Salbatore got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Langueyú AFC's Leonardo Oliveiro got a free kick in the 57th minute. Romulo Pueblo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Hondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Pueblo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute of the match Ladislao Tebaldo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Hondo skillfully saved the ball. With an all-out effort, Langueyú AFC's Celedonio Bidun threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cosme Arias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joaquin Hondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romulo Pueblo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Joaquin Hondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Salbatore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Romulo Pueblo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Hondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Perutxo got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Langueyú AFC's Candido Perutxo got a free kick in the 97th minute. Joaquin Hondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Salbatore in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Langueyú AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
