After 7 minutes, Guillermo Quintana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guampacha FC and the Josefina FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Guampacha FC's Guillermo Quintana got a free kick in the 7th minute. Anibal Cristofol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emiliano Fanuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Matxin in the 38th minute of play. Josefina FC's Nicolas Macias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Xabel in the 40th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aristides Matxin to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Guampacha FC's Emiliano Fanuco got control of the ball when Anibal Cristofol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Josefina FC's Anibal Cristofol got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aristides Matxin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Fanuco having to interfere. A collision led to Guampacha FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Isidoro Hori hit a great ball. Emiliano Fanuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Matxin in the 65th minute of play. If Mauro Gelacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guampacha FC's Emiliano Fanuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Matxin in the 72nd minute of play. Aristides Matxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Emiliano Fanuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guampacha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After having played for 91 minutes, Aristides Matxin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Josefina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Matxin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aristides Matxin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Fanuco having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Josefina FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
