In the 7th minute Hilario Haimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Arano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Matxin's late challenge caught a Amadores AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basilio Matxin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Amadores AFC booed when Obraje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Matxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvio Castulo struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Delmar Bernad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amadores AFC. With a little luck, Amadores AFC's Julian Arano got control of the ball when Lino Suero tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Amadores AFC's zone, Hilario Haimar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Arano came out of the goal and Hilario Haimar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Roman Matxin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amadores AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Matxin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmar Bernad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julian Arano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Haimar in the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Obraje's Leandro Loiola got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Elvio Castulo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amadores AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Castulo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lino Suero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th match minute, Obraje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Marcones to maneuver through the defense. Hilario Haimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Arano having to interfere. If Lino Suero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hilario Haimar came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Obraje fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hilario Haimar couldn't finish the play. If Roman Matxin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hilario Haimar to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Hilario Haimar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amadores AFC's Elvio Castulo got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Obraje's Delmar Bernad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Obraje from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Guilabertus during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Conrado Guilabertus hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 73 played minutes, Obraje's Sixto Pueblo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julian Arano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Obraje reached it. When Obraje's Hilario Haimar in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Amadores AFC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Amadores AFC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Leandro Enol hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Amadores AFC defense, Hilario Haimar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julian Arano. The Amadores AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Arano should have stopped the shot. Delmar Bernad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Matxin in the 82nd minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Obraje got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Cambranes. In the 89th minute Celedonio Cambranes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Arano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro Enol kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The supporters of Obraje booed when Amadores AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Enol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Obraje's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
