Damaso Ekaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Milio having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Siro Argider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fabian Ovando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Atletico Guesher getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Justo Martinez hit a great ball. In the 45th minute of the match Gogo Montae sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fulgencio Milio skillfully saved the ball. Damaso Ekaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Ovando was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Fabian Ovando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Guesher's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Ovando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Monte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Duggan's Esteban Monte got control of the ball when Siro Argider tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 56 minutes, Damaso Ekaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duggan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Ekaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damaso Ekaitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fulgencio Milio having to make a save. Damaso Ekaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Damaso Ekaitz sped through Atletico Guesher's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fulgencio Milio. If Damaso Ekaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Atletico Guesher's Venancio Gartzi got a free kick in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Ekaitz in the 74th minute of play forced Atletico Guesher's goalkeeper Fulgencio Milio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rosendo Fonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rosendo Fonda scored 2-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fulgencio Milio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Duggan's goalkeeper Esteban Monte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 81 minutes, Fabian Ovando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Guesher's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Ovando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damaso Ekaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hilario Chorche's late challenge caught a Duggan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hilario Chorche helped the player get up and apologised. If Fabian Ovando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Duggan fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atletico Guesher had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
