After a defensive mix-up in Medinas AFC's zone, Isaias Indar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Fernado came out of the goal and Isaias Indar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luciano Transito charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Transito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Álzaga AFC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Luciano Transito hit a great ball. Medinas AFC's Salvador Fernado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Indar in the 9th minute of play. Salvador Fernado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Transito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaias Indar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Fernado having to interfere. A collision led to Medinas AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Esteban Euloxu hit a great ball. Luciano Transito struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Salvador Fernado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Álzaga AFC. Luciano Transito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Álzaga AFC's goalkeeper Efrain Lixandro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ariel Figueroa came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Medinas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Figueroa couldn't finish the play. Oscar Eliazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Ariel Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medinas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Figueroa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efrain Lixandro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ariel Figueroa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute Luciano Transito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Fernado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Indar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Salvador Fernado made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Medinas AFC's Iker Casado got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Luciano Transito fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Salvador Fernado, passed just outside the right post. Salvador Fernado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Transito in the 66th minute of the match. Medinas AFC's Salvador Fernado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Medinas AFC from getting a goal against them. Oscar Eliazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Álzaga AFC booed when Medinas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Rio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Medinas AFC's Salvador Fernado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Medinas AFC from getting a goal against them. Efrain Lixandro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Furman in the 77th minute of play. When Oscar Eliazar came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Medinas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Eliazar couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, Armando Furman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmiro Kismi's late challenge caught a Medinas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmiro Kismi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Álzaga AFC's Delmiro Kismi got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Efrain Lixandro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Figueroa in the 94th minute of play. Saverio Ferdinand hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Medinas AFC's Timoteo Rio in action when he in the 98th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
