Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Denis Ciceron started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Victoriano Tristan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Newton FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Feliciano Amato hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Ciro Manuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tulumaya's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Manuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romulo Osmundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Lucas Orland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Mauro Abaurre in the 15th minute really tested Romulo Osmundo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Denis Ciceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Newton FC's Denis Ciceron got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 25 minutes, Lucas Orland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newton FC and the Tulumaya players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Newton FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Lucas Orland hit a great ball. Romulo Osmundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Gasteiz in the 27th minute of play. Victoriano Tristan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ricardo Erruki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Ciro Manuelo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Timoteo Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Manuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Osmundo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Tristan in the 47th minute of play forced Tulumaya's goalkeeper Ricardo Erruki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After 52 played minutes Newton FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Orixe. Timoteo Gonzalez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Romulo Osmundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Victoriano Tristan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ricardo Erruki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Ciceron in the 77th minute of the match. After 80 minutes, Juan Dalmai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newton FC and the Tulumaya players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, one of Newton FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Newton FC. Mauro Abaurre walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Ciro Manuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Osmundo having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Denis Ciceron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Ciceron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Tulumaya's goalkeeper Ricardo Erruki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Tristan. When Victoriano Tristan came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Newton FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Tristan couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tulumaya fans cheered their team off the field, for while Newton FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
