When Ruben Ignatius fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pailemán's protests and gave Ruben Ignatius a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Ruben Ignatius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute of the match Artemio Quinito sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Berart skillfully saved the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Nehcnum Reyab's Rogelio Nuno got a free kick in the 14th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Ruben Ignatius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pailemán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Ignatius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Gergori kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Fidel Quinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The supporters of Nehcnum Reyab booed when Pailemán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Salvidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Duarte struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Fidel Quinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nehcnum Reyab. The supporters of Nehcnum Reyab booed when Pailemán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Quinito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute Fausto Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Quinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Guillermo Rameriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Fausto Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fidel Quinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Fidel Quinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Duarte in the 40th minute of play. Fausto Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fidel Quinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fausto Duarte made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Pailemán's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Duarte came free, but Fidel Quinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillermo Rameriz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Pailemán's Ruben Ignatius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Berart narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eduardo Haritzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Ignatius in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Berart saved Nehcnum Reyab from getting behind. After 61 played minutes Nehcnum Reyab got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Paz. In the 62nd minute, Eduardo Haritzeder reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christian Berart. The goal made the score 0-1. Antonio Blasi kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Manuel Urtats kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Pailemán's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Duarte came free, but Fidel Quinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Haritzeder might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Berart. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Haritzeder ran back to his position shaking his head. Ruben Ignatius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eduardo Haritzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Nehcnum Reyab supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pailemán's performance. The match ended with a win for Pailemán.
