Nestor Adrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venancio Onbera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute, Gervasio Gines ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Adrio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Tomás Ursino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Venancio Onbera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Ursino to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Rigoberto Ferran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd minute, Tomás Ursino made a precise shot to the right of Venancio Onbera. Leales's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Rafael Seber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gervasio Gines who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Nestor Adrio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Falda AFC's zone, Rafael Seber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Adrio came out of the goal and Rafael Seber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafael Seber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nestor Adrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Seber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestor Adrio having to make a save. Nestor Adrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Abeijon, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Falda AFC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
