Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rogelio Fe started the match with the kick off. Monte Grande FC's Edgardo Chago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Monte Grande FC from getting a goal against them. Augusto Sayveon hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute of the match Gustavo Ricart shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Prospero Sagrario showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 7th match minute, Madrejón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Sayveon to maneuver through the defense. When Madrejón's Rogelio Fe in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monte Grande FC's goalie prevented a goal. Victorio Fortun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prospero Sagrario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Fortun in the 23rd minute of play. Gregorio Salamon struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Edgardo Chago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madrejón. In the 29th minute of the match Benjamin Domiku shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Prospero Sagrario showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Indar in the 31st minute of play forced Madrejón's goalkeeper Prospero Sagrario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Indar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Prospero Sagrario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Monte Grande FC defense, Eloy Herauso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Chago. The Monte Grande FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgardo Chago should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Victorio Fortun made the kick off in the second half. Edgardo Chago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Salamon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 played minutes Monte Grande FC got a freekick which was hit by Amado Llorian. When Victorio Fortun fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monte Grande FC's protests and gave Victorio Fortun a yellow card for diving instead. When Nemesio Beltran fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Madrejón's protests and gave Nemesio Beltran a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Madrejón fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Victoriano Indar scored 1-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prospero Sagrario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Victorio Fortun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 76 played minutes Madrejón got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Quentin. Madrejón's Rogelio Fe got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgardo Chago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Fe in the 85th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Madrejón's Rogelio Fe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Chago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Madrejón's zone, Victoriano Indar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Sagrario came out of the goal and Victoriano Indar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
