The referee showed Aurelio Martxel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ceibalito booed when Comunicaciones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Martxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceibalito's Jeronimo Mero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Lauaxeta in the 12th minute of play. Fernando Orkatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Llorian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Comunicaciones's Carolo Lobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Llorian in the 22nd minute of play. Fernando Orkatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Llorian might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carolo Lobo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Llorian ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Comunicaciones's Aurelio Martxel got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Comunicaciones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Mikelats to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Pablo Llorian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ceibalito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Elias Jerico kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pablo Llorian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ceibalito booed when Comunicaciones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Lekubegi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 minutes, Robustiano Berenguer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ceibalito and the Comunicaciones players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Ceibalito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Berenguer to maneuver through the defense. Comunicaciones's Leandro Quiroga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ceibalito. When Aurelio Martxel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. After some careless play in the Ceibalito defense, Prudencio Mikelats kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeronimo Mero. The Ceibalito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeronimo Mero should have stopped the shot. Pablo Llorian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Comunicaciones's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Llorian came free, but Carolo Lobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Lauaxeta kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Pablo Llorian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Lobo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pablo Llorian in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carolo Lobo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Saul Lauaxeta was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Orkatz got free with Carolo Lobo in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
