Genaro Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Aragones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Eleazar in the 6th minute of play forced Vespucio AFC's goalkeeper Raul Quinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Quinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Noe in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Eduardo Eleazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Quinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Aaron Afonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Eduardo Eleazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Quinton was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Vespucio AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Eleazar came free, but Raul Quinton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ciriaco Noe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raul Quinton was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 25th match minute, Vespucio AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Peter to maneuver through the defense. Raul Quinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Noe in the 26th minute of play. Ciriaco Noe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Raul Quinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Elixio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Genaro Merexildo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 37th minute, Eduardo Eleazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raul Quinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Noe in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Noe in the 47th minute of play forced Vespucio AFC's goalkeeper Raul Quinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half P.U.R.A. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Aragones stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Vespucio AFC's Miguel Aragones made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genaro Merexildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raul Quinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Eleazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco Noe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Eduardo Eleazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. P.U.R.A.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Eleazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Genaro Merexildo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Aragones's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Genaro Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Aragones in the 93rd minute of the match. The Vespucio AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching P.U.R.A.'s performance. The match ended with a win for P.U.R.A..
