With his leg Claudio Pudes managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when P.U.R.A.'s Eduardo Eleazar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 5 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Noe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudio Pudes. Dominguito FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciriaco Noe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 9th minute, Isaias Ortle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the game, Leo Fanuco threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dominguito FC's Domingos Baladi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 21 minutes into the match, P.U.R.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Azubeli came free, but Genaro Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ciriaco Noe came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the P.U.R.A. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Noe couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Paulino Telo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dominguito FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Dominguito FC's Domingos Baladi got a free kick in the 28th minute. P.U.R.A.'s Genaro Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Azubeli in the 32nd minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Eleazar was the one to do the kick off. Dominguito FC's Gonzalo Loco was substituted for Bernardo Llorienzo. Leonardo Azubeli might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Merexildo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonardo Azubeli ran back to his position shaking his head. Leandro Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dominguito FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
