Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Coiruro AFC's Flavio Phelipe got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The long shot by Rosendo Matxin in the 18th minute really tested Romeo Papo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 19th minute, Chimborazo's Celestino Dubardo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Chimborazo's Cornelio Nisio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Jerardo in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 minutes, Celestino Dubardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chimborazo and the Coiruro AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Chimborazo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Dubardo to maneuver through the defense. If Enrique Paublo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Coiruro AFC's Amancio Ostadar got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ramon Jerardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornelio Nisio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Chimborazo's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Paublo came free, but Cornelio Nisio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Edelmiro Gutierrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Coiruro AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celestino Dubardo was the one to do the kick off. Enrique Paublo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Nisio having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Celestino Dubardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chimborazo's supporters rose to their feet, but Celestino Dubardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Papo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baldomiro Porfirio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Coiruro AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Porfirio came free, but Romeo Papo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes Coiruro AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Oriol. Romeo Papo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Dubardo in the 73rd minute of play. If Baldomiro Porfirio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celestino Dubardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Romeo Papo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomiro Porfirio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Phelipe kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Cornelio Nisio was a little too slow when Enrique Paublo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 2-3. 96 minutes into the match, Chimborazo's goalkeeper Cornelio Nisio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon Jerardo. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Coiruro AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
