Paulo Luken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lucas Nafarroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Beltran having to interfere. In the 15th minute Ciro Ostargi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Beltran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Nafarroa in the 21st minute of play forced Retiro AFC's goalkeeper Valentin Beltran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Shambaloo's Lucas Nafarroa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valentin Beltran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felipe Lawrence could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Ceferino Pirmin made a huge save. Lucas Nafarroa succeeded in the game's 29th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Valentin Beltran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Nafarroa in the 32nd minute of play. If Felipe Lawrence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the game, Retiro AFC's Felipe Lawrence nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ceferino Pirmin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Lucas Nafarroa made the kick off in the second half. Angel Shepherd kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Lucas Nafarroa succeeded in the game's 58th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Retiro AFC's zone, Ciro Ostargi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Beltran came out of the goal and Ciro Ostargi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Luken hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute Retiro AFC were awarded a corner. Silvano Jordy went to the cornerflag to take it. Retiro AFC's Silvano Jordy was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ceferino Pirmin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 76 minutes into the match, Shambaloo's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Lia came free, but Ceferino Pirmin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Dalmai might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ceferino Pirmin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeremias Dalmai ran back to his position shaking his head. Nestor Lia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Shambaloo's zone, Felipe Lawrence stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceferino Pirmin came out of the goal and Felipe Lawrence tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felipe Lawrence received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ceferino Pirmin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Norino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Gerardo Rosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Pirmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ciro Ostargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Shambaloo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
