In the 21stth minute of the game Herminio Monte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sarmiento's Herminio Amaya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Sarmiento's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Lesardo came free, but Herminio Amaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herminio Amaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Lesardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, bombachaveloz's Severo Bastiaro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute, Everardo Paez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Saturnino Soter, passed just outside the right post. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Florentino Hartz put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Saturnino Soter. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento's zone, Joaquin Lesardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. bombachaveloz's Saturnino Soter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Paez in the 58th minute of play. If Everardo Paez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sarmiento's Herminio Amaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Sarmiento from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Sarmiento booed when bombachaveloz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Tancredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Sarmiento's goalkeeper Herminio Amaya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herminio Monte.
