The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Kanda Club Atletico got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Remigio. In the 4th minute Leopoldo Dantae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Aires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Dantae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Aires having to interfere. A collision led to Agronomía AFC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Celso Isauro hit a great ball. Ignacio Dimo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Igor Cedro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match, Igor Cedro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ignacio Dimo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Agronomía AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Igor Cedro 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Leopoldo Dantae managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agronomía AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Dantae was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosendo Aires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roberto Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute Igor Cedro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Dimo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Roberto Romano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kanda Club Atletico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Gaspar Barrionuevo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When Leopoldo Dantae came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Agronomía AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Dantae couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Modestio made a kick off. Agronomía AFC's Donato Modestio got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Donato Modestio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rosendo Aires was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Celso Isauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Henric hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The supporters of Agronomía AFC booed when Kanda Club Atletico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Koldobika didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agronomía AFC's Leopoldo Dantae got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Igor Cedro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
