Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eulalio Ilixo kicked off to start the match. When Goicó AFC's Abelardo Ignatius in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Murray FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Arturo Shepherd got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Abelardo Ignatius scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Beila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Murray FC's Fernando Beila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Ignatius in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Fernando Cebo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Murray FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goicó AFC the free kick. The supporters of Goicó AFC booed when Murray FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Cebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Goicó AFC got a corner. Murray FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christian Tximitx ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached German Natal at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Murray FC. 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eulalio Ilixo in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Beila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abelardo Ignatius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Beila having to interfere. Astor Quico's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Generoso Vergaray skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

A collision led to Murray FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Arturo Shepherd hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Ilixo in the 56th minute of play forced Murray FC's goalkeeper Fernando Beila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Goicó AFC's Eulalio Ilixo, in the 58th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Goicó AFC. 61 minutes into the match, Eulalio Ilixo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fernando Beila, 0-3. Fernando Cebo was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Murray FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Fernando Cebo hit a great ball. Eulalio Ilixo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Astor Quico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abelardo Ignatius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Fernando Beila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eulalio Ilixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Beila having to interfere. When Abelardo Ignatius came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Goicó AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Ignatius couldn't finish the play. Eulalio Ilixo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Murray FC's zone, Abelardo Ignatius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Beila came out of the goal and Abelardo Ignatius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute of the match Fabio Rik shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Generoso Vergaray showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Goicó AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
