Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cienaguillas's Raimundo Rioja started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Gonas F.C. booed when Cienaguillas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Gamus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erubiel Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Veronica in the 11th minute of the match. Abel Txeru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Erubiel Paublo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Veronica who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Erubiel Paublo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 15 minutes into the match, Gonas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Nazario came free, but Severino Iturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Cienaguillas's Alfonso Nazario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Iturri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Cayetano Miro scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severino Iturri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 28 minutes of play, Cienaguillas's Clemente Colon made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino Iturri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Severino Iturri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Rioja in the 32nd minute of play. Clemente Colon took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Iturri. Severino Iturri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Higinio Veronica made a kick off. Gonas F.C.'s Higinio Veronica got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Gonas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Rioja came free, but Severino Iturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Iturri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Soter, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Severino Iturri was a little too slow when Vicente Fernado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-6. With a little luck, Gonas F.C.'s Severino Iturri got control of the ball when Vicente Fernado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruben Constancio kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Raimundo Rioja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Iturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Vicente Fernado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cienaguillas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. With a little luck, Gonas F.C.'s Severino Iturri got control of the ball when Vicente Fernado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gonas F.C.'s Severino Iturri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Rioja in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute Raimundo Rioja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Iturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonas F.C.'s Severino Iturri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Gonas F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, Clemente Colon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cienaguillas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. When the match was over Cienaguillas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gonas F.C. throughout the match.
