In the 55th minute of the match Eliseo Lohitzun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conrado Galeno skillfully saved the ball. Cristo Mark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Conrado Galeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Mauro Leguizamón managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pontevedra CBA's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Leguizamón was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Handi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roberto Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Handi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pilciao's Ceferino Elija got a free kick in the 78th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Mauro Leguizamón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pontevedra CBA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Leguizamón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Pontevedra CBA's Roberto Rivas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anier Handi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Cristo Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pontevedra CBA getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Cesar Jaen hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pilciao had won after a very even match.
