Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Guzman started the match with the kick off. If Ciriaco Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-1 became the score in the 10th minute when Ciriaco Martinez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Ciriaco Martinez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hualcama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Balesio in the 21st minute of play forced Vértiz's goalkeeper Celestino Ekhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Victoriano Vincente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vértiz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hualcama the free kick. In the 21st minute, one of Vértiz:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vértiz. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Hualcama. Cayetano Eneto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Celestino Ekhi. 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmelo Mouricio got free with Isidoro Demario in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, Hualcama's goalkeeper Isidoro Demario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmelo Mouricio. Carmelo Mouricio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Demario having to interfere. If Carmelo Mouricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Vértiz players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hualcama were winning 0-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciriaco Martinez made a kick off. After some careless play in the Vértiz defense, Faustino Balesio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celestino Ekhi. The Vértiz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celestino Ekhi should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristobal Cordeiro during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristobal Cordeiro hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Vértiz's Carmelo Mouricio got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Carmelo Mouricio sped through Hualcama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isidoro Demario. After a defensive mix-up in Hualcama's zone, Carmelo Mouricio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidoro Demario came out of the goal and Carmelo Mouricio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Pedro Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ciriaco Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Ekhi having to interfere. The Hualcama players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
