Natalio Lauaxeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Boca Junirs's zone, Alejandro Lando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nunez Madeo came out of the goal and Alejandro Lando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nunez Madeo made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Alejandro Lando sent off a good shot on target. Nunez Madeo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Tino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Erubiel Tino, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 31 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Nunez Madeo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Boca Junirs's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Tino came free, but Nunez Madeo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Alejandro Lando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jobson's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Lando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nunez Madeo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alejandro Lando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Nunez Madeo made a huge save. Nemesio Reno hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Jobson's Erubiel Tino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nunez Madeo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erubiel Tino to make the kick off. Nemesio Reno struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Natalio Lauaxeta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Boca Junirs. In the 57th minute Alejandro Lando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Madeo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jobson's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Niceto Iigo in the 59th minute. A nice corner shot did that Niceto Iigo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nunez Madeo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Erubiel Tino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atletico Boca Junirs's Nunez Madeo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Tino in the 64th minute of play. When Godofredo Peruxu came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Jobson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Peruxu couldn't finish the play. If Erubiel Tino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Jobson booed when Club Atletico Boca Junirs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Belmiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Erubiel Tino came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Jobson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Tino couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejandro Lando in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nunez Madeo saved Club Atletico Boca Junirs from getting behind. Erubiel Tino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Madeo having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Amancio Belmiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nunez Madeo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Lando in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jobson's Melchor Tome got a free kick in the 87th minute. Alejandro Lando kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
