Estanquito were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Tito Corleonne AA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Santiago Lehoi took the corner. Estanquito's Justo Dabi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Humberto Luix in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 10 minutes into the game, Feliberto Herauso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Humberto Luix was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th minute, Remigio Benet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliberto Herauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Luix having to interfere. When Justo Dabi fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estanquito's protests and gave Justo Dabi a yellow card for diving instead. Justo Dabi kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Fidel Amor scored 2-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Giraldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Efrain Balendin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 36 minutes, Feliberto Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estanquito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Herauso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Feliberto Herauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Humberto Luix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Tito Corleonne AA got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Casomiro. Santiago Lehoi made a great header on Estanquito's corner, it was just that Tito Corleonne AA's Humberto Luix managed to reach the ball for a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octavio Felipo to make the kick off. Fidel Amor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Giraldo having to interfere. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tito Corleonne AA's goalkeeper Humberto Luix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Modesto Oriche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estanquito's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Oriche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Luix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the match, Tito Corleonne AA's goalkeeper Humberto Luix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliberto Herauso. Efrain Balendin hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Octavio Felipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Giraldo having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Estanquito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Estevez to maneuver through the defense. Tito Corleonne AA's Iker Cordara couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Estanquito. In the 81st minute Fidel Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Giraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Modesto Oriche took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Humberto Luix to make any attempt to save it. Tito Corleonne AA's Humberto Luix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Oriche in the 98th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
