Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomás Joseph took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute Tomás Joseph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Maxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Playo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Domingos Ellande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Playo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Ellande having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lanteri FC's zone, Francisco Bernaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Ellande came out of the goal and Francisco Bernaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Manuel Playo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Osorio in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingos Ellande saved Lanteri FC from getting behind. 21 minutes into the game, Melchor Dabi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River Maniaca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lanteri FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, River Maniaca's Melchor Dabi got a free kick in the 21st minute. Omar Maxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomás Joseph received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Omar Maxin came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomás Joseph slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 31st minute. Domingos Ellande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Playo in the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Herminio Goito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, River Maniaca's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Joseph came free, but Omar Maxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Manuel Playo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Osorio in the 47th minute of play forced Lanteri FC's goalkeeper Domingos Ellande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Domingos Ellande was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gaston Osorio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 52 minute of play. Tomás Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaston Osorio charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaston Osorio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes River Maniaca got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Osorio. After having played for 65 minutes, Herminio Goito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanteri FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herminio Goito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaston Osorio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Domingos Ellande came out and tried to block the shot, but Gaston Osorio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 69th minute. Manuel Playo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Ellande having to interfere. Tomás Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Brun kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The River Maniaca supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing River Maniaca would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
