Tala AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeronimo Lorien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Tala AFC's Adolfo Calvet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Mikelar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, López FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Chuan to maneuver through the defense. After 19 played minutes, Tala AFC's Aquilino Buinton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joel Mikelar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tala AFC reached it. Adolfo Calvet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Mikelar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Lorien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Tala AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Brion came free, but Isaias Rico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Tala AFC's Jeronimo Lorien sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Mikelar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joel Mikelar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Calvet, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Jeronimo Lorien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Mikelar having to interfere. A collision led to Tala AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gonzalo Navarro hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeronimo Lorien was the one to do the kick off. In the 81stth minute of the game Jeronimo Lorien who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but López FC's Joel Mikelar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Adolfo Calvet made a precise shot to the right of Joel Mikelar. López FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 95th match minute, Tala AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Mendez to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Montrelle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Tala AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
