Schaqui's Isaac Abella got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaac Abella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Isaac Abella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Constantino Guerrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constantino Guerrero scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Mikelar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnaldo Montrelle kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Sixto Stanislao came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by López FC's Jonathan Brion. But to his dismay, Jonathan Brion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Feliberto Munio put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in López FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Schaqui's Sixto Stanislao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Montrelle in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, López FC's Marcial Admon got a free kick in the 56th minute. Arnaldo Montrelle scored 2-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sixto Stanislao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joel Mikelar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Abella, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Schaqui's Isaac Abella got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Alejandro Oliviero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Schaqui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave López FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Schaqui's Alejandro Oliviero got a free kick in the 71st minute. 78 minutes into the game, Schaqui's Constantino Guerrero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Mikelar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Benigno Selmo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Isaac Abella charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaac Abella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, Isaac Abella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85thth minute of the game Constantino Guerrero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but López FC's Joel Mikelar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabricio Madeo's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Joel Mikelar - 4-2 was put on the score board in the 90th minute. The supporters of Schaqui booed when López FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Selmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Schaqui's Isaac Abella got a free kick in the 95th minute. 97 minutes into the game, Schaqui's Constantino Guerrero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Mikelar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. López FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
