In the last second Benigno Vasco throw himself and got hold of the ball when Isaias Huly in the 9thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Huly in the 11th minute of play forced C.A. CAU CAU's goalkeeper Benigno Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calva AFC's Cayetano Dantel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Remigio in the 18th minute of play. Julio Maurino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benigno Vasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Julio Maurino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Benigno Vasco made a huge save. In the 22nd minute Isaias Huly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigio Aurken struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Cayetano Dantel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. CAU CAU. Benigno Vasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julio Maurino went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Isaias Huly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Vasco having to interfere. When Julio Maurino came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Calva AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Maurino couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute of the match, Julio Maurino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benigno Vasco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaias Huly made a kick off. Calva AFC's Isaias Huly got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.A. CAU CAU's Benigno Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Huly in the 55th minute of play. Cayetano Dantel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Aurken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The goalkeeper, Cayetano Dantel, was totally fooled by C.A. CAU CAU's Filiberto Gasteiz, who 68 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 72nd minute Isaias Huly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timoteo Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Isaias Huly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Vasco having to interfere. After 91 played minutes C.A. CAU CAU got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Misael. Julio Maurino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Vasco having to interfere. The supporters of Calva AFC booed when C.A. CAU CAU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Obano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Julio Maurino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The C.A. CAU CAU players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
