After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Desiderio Eneto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuyoj's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Eneto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Nofre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the game, Pablo Abalos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bernal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuyoj the free kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Desiderio Eneto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leopoldo Hegoi's late challenge caught a Cuyoj's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 66th minute of the match, Desiderio Eneto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Daniel Nofre saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
