Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eleuterio Ayala took the kick off in the first half of the match. Flavio Acuña kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Codigo Deportivo got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Thomas. Virgilio Innocenzio kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Virgilio Innocenzio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Codigo Deportivo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merayo AFC the free kick. In the 17th minute, Virgilio Innocenzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Casado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Eguen, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Jose Loiola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Gipuzkoa having to interfere. In the 27th play minute Jose Loiola came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aquiles Gipuzkoa. 1-0. When Eustaquio Eguen came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Codigo Deportivo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Eguen couldn't finish the play. Merayo AFC's Benedicto Barros shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 46th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aquiles Gipuzkoa but with some difficulty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustaquio Eguen was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Codigo Deportivo getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Flavio Acuña hit a great ball. Eriberto Costante kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Aquiles Gipuzkoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Ayala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Merayo AFC's Leonardo Casado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Merayo AFC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Merayo AFC booed when Codigo Deportivo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Federigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
