Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valentin Llorienzo started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Delfino during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Luis Delfino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Luken got free with Carolo Truylos in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st match minute, Hucal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Delfino to maneuver through the defense. Claudio Gergori's late challenge caught a Mathew AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Gergori helped the player get up and apologised. Claudio Gergori kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Mathew AFC's Carolo Truylos got control of the ball when Filiberto Cambranes tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Quintana in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eustaquio Oliverios saved Hucal from getting behind. After 48 played minutes Hucal got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Calvet. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Horacio Louis to strike the kick off in the second half. Horacio Louis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Quintana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eustaquio Oliverios read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Marcos Birjaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hucal's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Birjaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carolo Truylos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Luken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Hucal's Eustaquio Oliverios got control of the ball when Enrique Quintana tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Hucal booed when Mathew AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Obano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Luciano Calvet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mathew AFC's Valentin Llorienzo in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Carolo Truylos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Birjaio in the 94th minute of play. The Mathew AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mathew AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
